Who are the most underrated boxers?

I was looking through the most overrated boxers thread and it got me thinking.

Current and past what fighters come to mind?

Glen Johnson is someone that comes to mind when I think of underrated fighters. Chad Dawson too because he had a nice run from 2007-2010 (From when he beat Tomasz Adamek to when he lost to Jean Pascal). Juan Diaz doesn't get talked about much either and his peak from 2004-2008 was impressive.

Paulie Malignaggi gets disrespected too and he was one of the greatest overachievers I've ever seen. He was a light-punching jabber who managed to become a two-division titlist. I know, I know, it's easier to do that now than it used to be but there are still plenty of fighters who don't accomplish that.

Dmitry Pirog they wrote him off because of his back injury...his fight vs GGG would've been Sergiy problems years before

Kosie Tanaka dude is a unbeaten 3 division world champ in just 15 fights and 9 stoppages. But gets no attention at all while everyone rides Inoue like the next greatest thing coming from Asia.

i had the pleasure of meeting and taking a pic with juan at pac/hatton....super nice kid...super smart...good with his money....glad to see him get out when he did...its amazing to think he hasnt even turned 37 yet.....and took 3 years off after the jmm loss and hasnt fought in like 3 years too......although i never highly rated him

paulie...i agree....i remember how he won me over in the cotto fight...and i remember him saying he took that fight prob before he should have/ was really ready...but because of this hand issues he said he had to cause he didnt know if hed get a shot like that again......he showed a ton of balls and was impressive imo....i was there when he beat ndou for his first world title...it was pretty cool as i had become a fan of his....

It is crazy that Juan Diaz is still that young considering how long he's been retired. He always did come across as someone who would succeed after hanging up the gloves.

I actually thought Malignaggi would get destroyed when he fought Cotto and I was shocked to see him go the full 12.

Man, sometimes guys in stacked divisions don't get their due or who get robbed.

I think about Carl "The Truth" Williams, who should've been the HW champion after he straight waxed Larry Holmes

I think about Jimmy Young, who got robbed against an old Muhammad Ali.

I think about Meldrick Taylor, who got robbed of his glory of taking JCC Sr.'s 0.

Emille Griffith has become underrated even though he's an ATG & a Hall of Famer

                Same with **** Tiger.

Orlando Canizales is really underrated. If you like Lomachenko, you'll LOOOOOOVE Canizales.

Today, I think Shawn Porter's underrated. That guy always brings the smoke.
