Let’s be honest with ourselves! Too many NSB vets turned from GGG to Canelo fans

What’s I’ve noticed every year on NSB is that the original GGG optimists - those that never really had anything against him up until they started seeing a pattern against other elites - that eventually they started shining away due to his matchmaking? And that the belts were never a priority or that fans had a point that he was skurrrred of Andre Ward...or that 154-168 was gaga!!

I think it was the Vanes to Rolls that really upset many fans, and that he didn’t give Derevyanchenko a more prioritized rematch. And, people have grown extremely tired that Team GGG continue to follow Canelo. That must be aggravating to many. Especially industry writers. I’ve even noticed that Breadman doesn’t care for GGG anymore and is starting to see the light of mExican Bidness!

    And that’s all she wrote!

Why are you always talking about Mexican bidness ? You are not a Mexican. You don't speak Spanish and you have never been anywhere near Mexico Why must GGG give Dervy an immediate rematch when he won on all three judges's cards and two judges had him winning by 3 points? Jacobs only beat Dervy by a close split decision yet you don't say Jacobs should rematch Dervy. Dervy is a bad SOB and nobody really wants to fight him. Hell, you God canelo gave up his world title rather than fight Dervy for it. Canelo has no firm opponent now and he could fight Dervy next but you know he never will. GGG has a great record against top opposition. he has a few cherry picks but so do just about all champions including Canelo. Pull your head out of your ass and take a hard look at Canelo's record and you will find lots of cherry picks. You never trash your countryman Saunders as a cherry picking champion even though his record as a champion is garbage compared to ggg's record as a champion. hell, two of saunder's title defenses were against guys GGG had already knocked out. So far the best guy Saunders ever fought was Lemieux who GGG had already easily destroyed. You say Breadman does not like GGG but you are a lying ass hole with nothing to back up this statement except your word as a proven habitual liar. I read Breadman and he always speaks about GGG with the respect a great champion is due. You should try respecting good champions like Spence, Loma, Plant and GGG instead of starting endless threads every day trashing them.

Can't see any good reason to stop liking or following the dude, I like lots of other fighters who accomplished far less and far as I can tell his matchmaking's very much in line with all but the most privileged. Who others dudes choose to root for or not is up to them, of course.

I think Canelo's an excellent fighter but privilege is always a bit of a turn off for me whatever sphere of life it occurs in (although I don't hold it against Canelo that boxing is set up as it is) , and the uncertainty over the Clenbuterol thing doesn't help either. Admire the dude for taking a harder path than he had to though, dude was a made guy pretty much whatever he did yet took some risks he dint need to.

Lol. What privilege? You’re either an elite level fighter or not. Most boxing gyms, pros, legends, trainers always credit Canelo highly for his skills and in many videos rate him #1 P4P. Why would they do him any favors on camera if there’s theory about privilege? If there was privilege everyone would site doubt against Canelo. How many fights have created narratives about “judges?” Thread plural. No gym would credit Canelo if there was consistency for “passing.” Such culture only exists online. Your comments prove that and it’s regurgitated by other posters by design

Some fighters get signed with major promoters early, some don't, some are from nationalities with sanctioning orgs that are dedicated to promoting their fighters, others ain't, some have a built in fanbase others don't. Some have good looks and the right skin tone, others don't. In short the powers that run boxing see more money in some guys than others and the road is made easier for those guys.and they get opportunities easier and earlier than other fighters.. That is privilege. If you don't think it exists in boxing, and that it's a simple meritocracy - a level playing field - you are hopelessly naive.

Lemme qualify.. I don't hold the privileged fighters to blame, they didn't set the system up, and I don't consider them lesser fighters, cos they still got to be good enough to take advantage of the opportunities they're given, but it still ain't a fair system. I ain't mad, it's just a fact of life.

That’s all theory. Were did a lot of PBC fighters originate from? If Schaefer and Haymon never plotted together or if PBC didn’t exist, would the PBC fighters of today have thanked GBP? Wilder, Charlos, Thurman, Garcia, Mares, etc... PBC gave these fighters significant “privilege” off of the business initially started at GBP. Haymon and Schaefer stole privilege
