I think Porter would be too big and strong for him.

Porter would maul this kid. Porter is nothing like Spence, it would be ugly.

yep, which is not actually a bad complaint

that was a poor decision imho, especially with the recent movement/uncertainty at 140

Mikey should have put himself right in the mix at JWW with Taylor, Ramirez, Prograis, Hooker, etc... and then looked for the right fights at 147

        e.g.

stylewise, the right fight for Mikey was Thurman coming off an injury... but Pac got to him first

Mikey, I saw you live at the garden on the GGG card. I sat in the front row. You're a fantastic fighter. Keep climbing those mountains. Everyone is a target. But Porter is one of my favorite fighters, too. Don't fight him. Fight someone i don't like. Fight Amir Khan. Break his face for me, since he'll run from Kell Brook forever. Bud made him quit. Now you make his ass retire for good. And that fight will pay good

You know who else has talked about fighting the top guys at WW? Khan. While all the others are ducking Spence, Khan talks wants Spence plus any top WW including Crawford whom he fought.

See what I mean? Talking about fighting the top guys means shït if you are getting beat up. Garcia is turning into Khan.

He will get beat by Crawford, Thurman or Porter.
Dunno. I mark that better than "not thinking about that right now" after you get called out.

Sadly, I think you guys are right.

How hard was it to just dominate 135 & give us the Loma fight, as opposed to getting your dome caved in by Spence, Crawford, and Porter?

Oh boy, I’d love that fight.

Right off the bat I’d favor Porter. I can see him over powering and just being to relentlessly for Mikey.

But Mikey does throw lots of very accurate hard shots and he is skilled. Size wise I like this fight better for Mikey than the Spence fight.

                Great fight if it happened.
