Comments Thread For: Thurman: Every Day Makes Me Feel I'm One Day Closer To Pacquiao Rematch

Having to deal with a lengthy layoff isn't anything new to Keith Thurman. Being able to use it to his advantage, however, is a potential game changer. The former unified welterweight titlist hasn't fought since a narrow points loss to legendary eight-division and reigning welterweight titlist Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39KOs) in their thrilling title fight last July. The bout was Thurman's second of what was originally slated as a comeback year after having been out of the ring since unseating then-unbeaten Danny Garcia in their March 2017 title unification clash.

This dude is pathetic, old man Manny beat his ass, he should be getting redemption by targeting Crawford or Spence but no I want 42 year old Manny again, disappointing I thought Thurman was better than that.

I don't think it happens. I couple wins and he's back in the mix though.

I’m a Thurman Fan but he’s never ever in a Million years going to get a rematch and he should know that and not even talk about it , He had his Chance to be the Guy from the Next Era take PACs Scalp but failed so it’ll be probably either one of the Garcia’s turn next ,

Thurman needs to talk Talk about Bud or Erroll and try and get people to forget about the L to Pac because I think that no matter what Thurman has accomplished in the past or will accomplish in the Future that L will always be a huge knock on Thurmans Legacy

Indeed, the next Top 147lbs to beat PacMan gets full credit because Pacman is not yet/perceived to be shot.

RUN TIME Thurman aka Mr. Flute Player

RUN TIME no longer wants to take risks. He simply wants the biggest bag and the biggest bag around 147 is Manny. Don't expect the flute player to ever mention Crawford's or Spence's names.

The guy simply blew his chance. Another chance may be too elusive this time, and not everyone expecting it though.
