    The 50-week gap between his last two fights doesn't look so bad in retrospect for Mikey Garcia. Having to wait nearly a full year to return to the ring wasn't the most desirable scenario for the former four-division titlist, but he still pushed through with a competitive but clear 12-round decision over Jessie Vargas. Their welterweight bout took place this past February, his first piece of ring action since a lopsided loss to Errol Spence in a failed bid to become a five-division champ last March.

        Agree with both of the above posts.....mikey robbed the deadzone blind. That had to be the biggest loser proportionally for the deadzone yet.

          Mikey got paid too much but hell I watched it live and enjoyed the hell out of the fight. What a bunch of f@gs above though, they actually give a **** who makes what amount in a fight. Who ****ing cares apart from the world's saddest people in promoter fanboys? At least fanboy over the boxers you nonces.

            That was a really good card, too. If DAZN lost money why tf would I care?

                  Yeah lad you sold him short....amazing grift that was. Based on that haul, Garcia should push for a 4 fight $30m contract. Maybe he can fight Marty Jakubowski, Andy Holigan, Rafael Pineda, and Greg Haugen for the last fight on the contract....
