Teddy atlas has good insight and common sense. You can tell he's wise. But it takes a certain kinda kid to walk through the door, someone who listens and is hungry for knowledge

Like anyone else who suffers from vices and being their own worst enemy, only the individual can help themselves. If the don't want help or don't think they need help, no one is going to save them from themselves. Sadly, Broner won't realize this until it is too late, his money is gone and his boxing career has been squandered.

forget about his boxing legacy, broner should be fixing his personal life.
He probably still has enough money left over to never have to work again.... but only if he lives within his means.
He will end up broke and in jail though.
He needs to find a mentor. There are guys that didnt waste all their money. Jeff Lacy and Winky Wright, those guys live a good life, they didnt blow all their money.
Atlas would be good for him from a life mentor perspective but he has to be humble enough to listen and he aint broken down enough yet. Broner is the type not to listen until hes lost everything.

I know teddy is known and respected in the boxing community but some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth makes me think at times that he never even seen a boxing match before.
Plus he drags on his points and trys to make a long story out if it then confuses himself halfway through his own story...lol

Problem with Broner is mental yeah but he's also been managed terribly. They should have made him stay at lightweight and junior welterweight, no higher. He was matched terribly. Busy, technical fighters in Garcia, Vargas. Then they put him in with tough nobodies like Granados and then Porter, who's bad for anyone. Broner should have been put in with Omar Figueroa, Brandon Rios, Chris Algieri.
