You know, like make use of their skills.

I think it's a good fight
Haney hasn't really fought anyone yet, but he ended up with a title....kinda sucks because it would mean Broner getting an undeserved title shot even though Haney got it by default and some feel that was undeserved too. Without that context I think it would be an OK test for Haney, can't remember if I read he was going to 140 or not. Broner at 135, I doubt he'd have much output, even less than lately

I respect broner. He fought top competition. Didn't always come out on top but always gave a decent account of himself, has a sturdy chin and has hurt everybody in one way or another. He's solid. But inactivity, drinking, lack of dedication will hurt him against haney who is younger and still getting better. Shoulder injury is a factor though

I don’t think Haney actually need Broner, what is the name on his resume at this point? Trying to get Hearn to pay him millions for what? When is the last time he had a decent win? Let Haymon give him his couple of 100k to sit around and be inactive. If he wants a boxing career then he needs to sign with a promoter that would give him 4 fights a year, someone like him need to be active, but I doubt anyone would invest in him at this point.

I never considered Broner much. The last fight of him I liked was DeMarco. His one and only "great" fight. When I hear Broner, I hear DeMarco. Not that DeMarco was much, but Broner was on point that night.
Maybe he should fight Lara or my boy Lubin.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 03-15-2020, 07:17 PM.

Broner no longer has the name he used to. He used to be a good win for someone. Now he is looked upon as a stepping stone only, but still seems to be looking for marquee attraction purses. This is why he is shopping beyond the PBC umbrella, because they don't want to pay him bull**** money either.
