Braekhus is 17-0 against world champs.

Serrano is 8-1-0 against world champs and she has a draw against a fighter with an 11-13-2 record.

Every time this topic comes up you try to downplay Braekhus and oversell Serrano.

Braekhus' one win against Farias is far, far better than Serrano's whole career. Let alone her wins over Mathis (twice), St John, Hallback, Lamare, Lauren (twice), etc.

It's not even a close comparison. Braekhus has the best wins and the best overall resume of any active female by a country mile.

She has won world titles in 7 different weight classes. No other female has even come close to that.
Yes I agree and if she beats Taylor there will be no more doubt.

TBF I really like Amanda and she does have a coupla of decent and one excellent win in Hardy recently which eclipses any single win by Braekhus in the last coupla years or Shields ever, so I wouldn't complain if anyone was to have her top of the pile but I'm still inclined to go with Cecelia till she shows any signs of slippage. Shields is clearly an elite female fighter but she's really hindered in any P4P conversation by the utter lack of depth in the womens higher weighclasses (and TBF that counts some against Braekhus too, though not as much).

Taylor and Persoon need to run it back of course before anyone annoints Katie, as good as she undoubtedly is.
Taylor-Persoon could have went either way. We need to stop calling close fights robberies.

... Nope... Persoon clearly won that fight...

Braekhus has been fighting longer than Serrano, who also takes breaks from boxing to do MMA. That accounts for the record discrepancy you mention.

Women's boxing lacks depth for everyone. You can't just trot out that excuse to downplay Serrano while never applying it to Braekhus.

Lastly, P4P isn't a career achievement award. It's about who is the best right now. It can be argued that Braekhus is on her last legs and ripe for the picking. While Serrano is at her peak and ripe to pick off Katie Taylor.

Serrano has more fights than Braekhus and Braekhus is still beating better fighters.

Sorry brother but your right we really need to stop calling these fights robberies

So , in this case Persoon clearly was the victor
                Without a doubt !!!

Braekhus has, Farias and Matthis are both elites of the womens sport it's just she hasn't for a good while, in a good part because she already beat anyone at WW worth a damn and as a result has been chopping down any upcomming talent before they even manage to build a decent reputation - such has been her dominance for so long. You could make the case that she might have moved up, but then those belts are really what make her the money - it's other women come to her, and besides there's even fewer fighters at 154 than at 147. (though I still think she should have shot for Gabriels - that would be a good fight, and... well, won't lie, they're both kinda hot ).

But yes you're absolutely correct that women's boxing ain't deep in any division , but there's still 3 or 4 times as many women fighting at 130/135 as there is at 154/160

So basically NO ONE thinks Shields is best P4P besides herself. She's hardly even mentioned in the comment section LOL

Well, I didn't actually call it a robbery although I did think Delfine deserved the W but either way it's one fight that absolutely does warrant a rematch. And it's hard to call Katie better P4P when Delfine actually weighed in a full weightclass lighter and still - in most eyes - beat her.
