Maybe you are right. But it might also be a strategy to get the possible 3rd match interesting, because nowadays a lot of people take lies for truth, thus they believe all the ****** excuses he has been dishing out sInce the lost. In that case, it's all about money.

Wilder should have received two knockdowns in the 5th because the ropes stopped him from going down the second time . I feel the referee felt he had to take a point away from Fury just so it wasn’t a complete dismantling on the scorecards and it still didn’t matter .

          Wilder was obliterated hands down.
He had no answer what so ever.

I would have loved to see a prime Fury against a prime Vitali - I honestly believe they are the two greatest Heavyweights of all time other than maybe Ali because of his jab and movement. I saw Vitali who has never been dropped run Lennox into retirement and I saw Fury school a Wlad on a huge win streak.

The 2nd time I watched the fight I was surprised by just how much the ref was on Wilders side.

Credit to Fury, he didn't even acknowledge it. Just shrugged it off and cracked on.

                King of Excuses for sure
Copying a post I saw on a different (non-boxing) forum:
Here's a list of some of his excuses so far:

                Costume tired him out
                Had bad legs
                Had a bad hand
                Bayless let Fury fight dirty
Breland was acting under the instructions of Fury's trainer telling them to stop fight early
He wasn't hurt and fight shouldn't have been stopped
                Complications in training camp
                Too much media work
Walked around his dressing room too much and got tired
Got too re-hydrated after the weigh-in and needed to piss so bad couldn't focus on Fury

Fight I he had some gems too:

                Broken arm
                Broken hand
                Pressure of PPV
                Tampered scales
                Long count,
Referee Jack Reiss was on Tyson’s side
He was 50% and Tyson was 100%
                Tyson did some voodoo magic
Tyson was covered in baby oil
                Fury's height advantage
                Fury's weight advantage
Wilder claims he clearly won 10 rounds
Wilder had the flu day of the fight
He didn’t KO Fury because he’s scared of his own power
Celebrated too early and got gassed
                Bias commentary
Americans not wanting a black guy to succeed

Goddamn! Wilder has to be one of the toughest SOB's ever. I've never witnessed anything like it before in a boxing ring.

Bleeding from both the mouth, nose and ear and still finishing the fight on his feet but wants to go out on his shield anyway. Also, while eating punch after punch by a 273 lbs man and still throwing back at the time of the stoppage.

Damn, he has a chin and a tremendous amount of balls. Even while taking an asswhooping he still never gave up.
