Even if he did, which isn’t true. Do you think Lewis, Holyfield, Ali etc. Would’ve let someone just rough house them and blame the ref for not helping? They would’ve given it back.

Well, he isn't entirely wrong about this one. Fury is much bigger than Wilder and he made full use of it roughing him up in the clinches. Lots of holding and hitting, leaning on him and rabbit punches. Wilder did hit Fury behind the head too but in retaliation, given the size difference it isn't nearly the same impact with those kind of short shots anyways.
That said i don't think Bayless did a bad job. As mentioned Wilder tried to give Fury a taste of his own medicine, often times that's the right thing. But only if it makes the fighter think twice next time. It didn't, it just made it harder for Bayless to sort it out since it was done on both sides.
More importantly he should've had more of a strategy to cope with it in the first place, he was really just out of his depth. Which brings me to the most important point, because that didn't change when Fury was boxing him up on the outside. It's one thing if Wilder was having success once at range but being roughed up inside, that wasn't the case. Fury kicked his ass regardless of where the fight took place. And the knockdown was legit, shots to the ear are legal. If that was a rabbit punch what was Wilder's KO of Liachovich? I remember sticking up for Wilder after Sergei made the same excuse, for Deontay to be complaining now is just messed up.
All that said, the man is clearly in denial right now. I hope he comes clean about what happened to himself if not the fans before the third fight or Fury will beat him even easier.Last edited by #1Assassin; 02-25-2020, 12:18 PM.

Either that or he’s still got concussion from that tonking
Maybe he’s like Eubank Jr. He never learned to box as well as he could’ve too, because he won’t listen. Adam Booth basically quit because it was useless trying to teach him.
Wilder is the same. That’s exactly why he’ll come in to the rematch with no clue and get beaten even quicker. Fury won’t even need to warm into the style he was using next time and probably ends it in 4 or 5 rounds.
I don’t believe Wilder could even make any adjustment at this point in his career anyway, but he won’t even be honest with himself and try anyway.

That's the difference between him and Fury. Wilder is in Alabama, completely surrounded by people up his arse, no doubt gets treated like a king, yes men and hangers on doing anything he tells them to do etc.
Fury meanwhile is happy to take himself into different environments, train with different people and is with people like Shane Fury who tells him exactly how things are.

Wilder came in with no game plan. You can blame his team for that. They knew Fury was coming in heavy. They had to know Fury was gonna use that weight to hold and bully him. Their game plan is the same as always...use the right had to KO Fury. When that did not work there was no plan B.
Wilder needs to dump that team and get a new trainer. If not, he will lose the rematch even worse.

WOW!! Fury fought well AND he also fought VERY dirty!! If the ref was on top of stopping the UFC tactics the second it happened/started? We’d most likely have another draw.
Fury did say he does plan to enter the WWE, but I had no idea he’d start with Wilder in a boxing 🥊 event! Those headlocks with the back of the head shots - with the weight of a pacific coast whale hanging off those bird legs?!? The bird loses every time!!
Fury came to wrestle and lean with a little boxing to boot. Now I’m not so sure Fury beats the 22 foot ring running version of Joshua! Joshua will stay the hell away in run mode while Fury tries his hardest to play the role of octopus 🐙 and dead weight!
Yeah, Fury is such a great boxer compared to Wilder - yeah right! He’s just taller with lanky long octopus arms with a belly full of heavy items - and a determination stemming from a boxing heritage. Only now(?) WRESTLING is his sport of choice! Fury did a GREAT JOB of incorporating MORE WRESTLING and LESS boxing in a “boxing” PPV event..WOW IT WORKED!!

Totally Oblivious
What a grown man baby Wilder is. He's not doing himself any favors blaming everyone but himself and conjuring up ridiculous conspiracy theories. Accept it, you lost fair and square bro! Get over it and deal with it. I'm surprised he didn't blame the fans who were booing as he made his way to the ring.
I have a song for Wilder that seems to fit perfectly:
"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to. You would cry to if it happened to you!"
