Who did Canelo beat that was better than Wladimir Klitschko?
Wilder is better than everyone Canelo beat besides GGG. Many people thought GGG beat Canelo twice, Fury knocked out Wilder.

I think GGG is better than Wilder but Fury knocked Wilder out. GGG probably should have gotten both decisions over Canelo.

Fury has TWO signature wins.
Grabomir is a quality win against a quality opponent.
Wilder is a quality win against a very good opponent.
Meanwhile, Carnelo has held belts in FOUR weight classes at the same time and has never been close to getting stopped like Fury has on multiple occasions.
Come on man, it's not close. Fury #2, Carnelo #1.

I didn’t say number one, I said ranked higher than Canelo.
Originally posted by NaijaD View PostSorry but NO.... as "good" as Wilder was as a HW, someone as ridiculously limited as that would not be regarded as a top win in the lower weight classes. Fury deserves to be on the p4p list but I don't think he deserves to be number 1, that is just another case of recency bias. Also his resume lacks depth compared to other top p4p fighters.

Klitschko was one of the greatest heavyweights of all time and Fury won almost every round.
Wilder was still better than every Canelo Alvarez opponent not named GGG.

Also, for one who would lose to Heavyweight pretenders like Michael Grant and Jameel McCline; Really? Are you kidding me? Are you serious?
You will want to give Fury credit and make him the number 1 P4P fighter in the world just for defeating a overachieving bum like Deontay Wilder?
The point is and I don't even like Canelo Alvarez but Tyson Fury's resume pales in comparison to Ginger's when it comes to fighting top notch competition and notable opponents.
Wladimir Klitschko is the only notable opponent on Tyson Fury's resume. Deontay Wilder doesn't count because he was never shit to begin with like you say.

P4P is ****** anyway but I'm gonna disagree with your assessment of his skill compared to the smaller guys on the list ...

Fury is also a highly, highly skilled operator in the ring, and that's regardless of weight. There's only him and Crawford who can switch hit, and Fury is by far the best at it.
Fury, Wlad, Wilder, AJ taking their respective skills down to other weight classes without size advantages over their opponents makes them average at best. As welterweights they wouldn't even be ranked in the top ten.
