Comments Thread For: Fury: This Is Not A Racial War, It's Two Heavyweights Going Toe-To-Toe

A master of self-promotion, Tyson Fury has shown a flair for grasping a wide range of topics. The one discussion he can't quite wrap his head around, however, is how the subject of race has entered his two-fight set with Deontay Wilder.

Yep pretty much everything else during the build up has been sideways out the side of his neck.

        And a take I love.

Old heads here know 'wraps loves boxing as a sport, and I detest and condemn racism and nationalism. Negative distractions both of them. I don't see creed, color, or origin, just heart and skill.

Wilder can't help it, it's the Shields in him.

Let’s be honest most White ppl would love to see Fury become champ. That’s not racial ppl usually identify better with those who look like them

Black ppl support wilder because they can identify with Wilder and want see their own succeed. Simple as that.

Respect to Fury for his comment.
I was at the first Wilder / Fury fight and I saw no type of Racism at all.
My girl and I were seated next to a black couple with about 6 U.K guys in front of us.
They had a good vibe , were very respectful and had knowledge of the sport.
Plus all the bars outside with Brits singing in 'em made for a good atmosphere.

Well it's always gonna be a subject when you're going up against Wilder. Always gonna cry about it even when there is none. Just gotta put himself in the "victim" position to try & get the upper hand. It's old already.

It's a comment disguised as harmony and designed to put those Cooney / Holmes asses in the seats.
                    Unnecessary.
                    Prediction:
Wilder catches Tyson hard before 6 and the ref halts the action.
