    Liam Smith believes that a fight between him and Kell Brook could be a perfect chief support for Anthony Joshua's fight with Kubrat Pulev. Smith, the former WBO champion, and Brook are both eying world title shots in the 154lb division, but with no obvious opportunities available, an all-British clash between the pair of them could be a lucrative option.

        Good analysis by Smith; he understands neither one of them is deserving of a world title shot then lists all the reasons why brook won't want to take a fight with him hahaha.

          Beefy smith lost twice to Liam williams imo and has never beaten anyone of note but he might well beat Brook at this stage, who clearly has lost interest in the sport & is being kept on a string by Hearn with promises of one last big payday to milk him for all that hes worth.

            I love reading articles or interviews with boxers who are entirely self aware and understand their value. I'd love to see this fight on the undercard of AJ and Pulev, however I don't know if there is really enough money available for Brook's perceived value of himself. In all likelihood, it probably does better as a standalone bout at liverpool or something.

            I'm not sure who i'd fancy...but i'd like to see it!

              I prefer Brook at least he tries to win titles and tries to win. Beefy's taken too many punches already, he's too upright, Brook is taking more now and idk if he's the same since that leg thing.

                I'd rather see Brook vs. Madrimov, or Brook vs. Hurd, but "Beefy" probably better from a business viewpoint.

                  Doesn't get the juices flowing this one but would be a decent fight on the undercard to an AJ or Whyte/Povetkin type fight.
