Herrera doesn’t get enough credit for what he did to Danny’s career. After that it was ultra safe fights unless there was big money.

Floyd is my favorite fighter, ever. I dont think hes TBE but I'll be damned if hes not Top 10 ever. EVER.
DAZN is specifically NOT doing what TR, ESPN, PBC, or Showtime are doing. They are not pillaging PPV money from people 2-4 times per year ($300 USD).
I never had a problem paying money to watch Floyd because I knew I was watching greatness. That alone was worth it. Even versus Ghost, Berto, and Ortiz I gladly paid and visited the movie theaters a couple of times. NONE of these guys are of that ilk. NONE.
I'm happy to save money especially when its quality product. Canelo v Jacobs and Kovalev were definitely PPV fights and I watched them for $8.33 USD! Also got to watch Joshua Ruiz 1 and 2, Inoue v Donaire (2019 FOTY), Jacobs v Dervechenko and JCC Jr, Andrade, Usyk, etc. DAZN is great for consumers and boxing. Hoping it takes over the landscape, honestly

Same strategy Mayweather used. That’s all.

dazn has the same old agendas hob & espn have by promoting foreigners & discrediting their own like they have with Andre Ward & Floyd Mayweather. dazn is so-so to me. They made some decent fights but won't dare make the elite fights, the only elite fight they made was Nelo/Jacobs. Their commentators aren't good either but Mora is okay I guess....
I pay for PPV fights, subscribed to Showtime, watch dazn for free but I don't pay or watch espn plus. I do watch regular espn when there is a fight televised though.
dazn should be $5 a month & espn plus should be free since you have to pay for the regular espn subscription. Then I would have/watch all of them.

on fox. you can get fox for free, even without a cable sub. shwotime is 15-20 a month.
2.7 million for a primetime spot on fox is terrible. the nfc championship did 42 million, for some context.
viewership for boxing is going down on the whole. young people don't watch tv any more.

I understand he’s very well off financially and has had a ton of fights. But he really has opportunities that most boxers would dream of
