Fraudweather was dumped by HBO for ducking Pacquiao and then Haymon manipulated Espinoza to give a coward a six fight $150m contract guaranteed. Then they rigged all six of the fights with the guaranteed money. Pac tried to win but FLoyd wouldn't fight, he knew the judges were fixed to give him the decision if he just went the distance.
Now Pac is the money fighter and FLoyd and Haymon can't rig it, that's why Fraudweather is ducking the rematch for over $100m.

The Mexican fighters making the big bucks are born in the US or come to the US.
Randomly does anyone even know the highest paid Mexican boxer who's still fighting in Mexico?

But regardless it's still a different market where boxing is a novelty to some degree. Boxing isn't a novelty in Mexico.
NFL, MLB, and NBA are steadily expanding in Mexico. Has to be a market there, WITH MONEY, or they would not be doing it!
Team sports have longevity beyond that of a boxer that makes it a better gamble for team sports to branch out more.
