Prime Carl Froch vs Callum Smith

Who wins in this war of mammoths of men who can box a bit but love to go toe to
Toe if they can’t help it!

Will it be Froch’s insane will to win and pressure or Smith’s uncanny size and jab?

    Who wins and why?

If John Ryder can back you down, Carl Froch would turn you into a car crash victim.

Froch walks him down and stops him mid rounds.
Froch had 1 of the most underappreciated and underrated ring IQs in boxing history

        FROCH !!

depending on how that fight unfolded, Froch could wreck him

Froch was hard man who got himself in insane condition, and (almost) always found a way to win

        I back Froch

really enjoyed his career... he is still under-rated to this day

I counted him out mid-fight on too many occasions

Froch beats him up, whether it's early, mid or late, he'll find a way. He had the great ability to go through the gears, matched with an awesome chin that helped him to do so. A modern day great.

I would go with froch in a tough fight, similar to froch vs groves 1.

froch has to take a lot walking him down, but he does eventually, unless Smith switches to survival mode at just the right time to sc**** a decision.

Right. If someone isn’t willing to rate Frochs skill worth much then they’d be forced to double down on how tough and determined he is to have any credibility. Froch was legit. He smashed our man Bute. I appreciate him more as time goes on. I listen to what he says on commentary too. His best skill was inside the ropes. I should rewatch sum of he’s best work, see what I can glean.

One of my favourite fighters to come out of the UK in all my time watching boxing, casual or whatever you call what I am now... obsessive I guess

Very definition of a throwback fighter and I think whilst his toughness and sheer will are appreciated by everyone, he's also a very long way from the caveman in the skills department he's sometimes portrayed as.

And the final minute vs Taylor has to rate well up in my list of most dramatic moments in boxing... that shit still raises the hairs on my neck and I gotta have seen it 50 times.
