Comments Thread For: Amir Khan To Review Options For 2020, Wants Big Fights

He started off the year with a welterweight title fight, against WBO world champion Terence Crawford at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Khan went down in the first round and was stopped after six, when the Bolton boxer was unable to continue after a low blow.

... “I can go to America, or go back to Saudi Arabia and do a fight there or I do a big fight in the UK.”

... he would go back to Saudi Arabia, but after AJ vs Ruiz it would be difficult to fool them a second time...

He always wants big fights, the trouble is that nobody takes him seriously, the guy is a complete joke.

Khan does not deserve any big fights until he can do it like everybody else and work his way to a big fight.
I'm sick of seeing this dude get easy passes just because he used to be slightly above average and he can move the needle.

******s have sports idols too... He's got some 2.2M followers on Twitter... but Mo Salah (from Liverpool FC) has 11M followers...

(Later edit: meanwhile, Wilder has only 616.8K followers...)
