Speaking of which, what happens with a no decision as in tonight's Franco vs Moloney II fight, where I picked the draw? Do I get no points at all, I presume?
Zero points to all, we just move on like it never happened, except it'll still count in the Pick Em numbering scheme so next weeks first Pick Em will still be #89. Same as a late cancellation of which we've had a few this year. Any multipliers used ain't deducted from your stash, etc, etc.

Unlucky though... if the bout had taken place over the border in California where I believe they still use CA rules rather than the Unified Rules used by most states it would have been declared a Draw.

    § 339. Unintentional Fouling.

    b) If the referee and/or the ringside physician determine that the bout may not continue because of an injury suffered as the result of an unintentional foul or because of an injury inficted by an unintentional foul which later becomes aggravated by fair blows, the bout must be declared a draw if the bout is stopped before the bell rings to begin the fourth round. After the bell rings to begin the fourth round, the outcome shall be determined by scoring the completed rounds and the round during which the referee or ringside physician stopped the bout.

I'm zeroing in on that damn draw!

Also I'm looking for some input into what fights to include to close out the 2020 Pick Em.

Scan down the Boxrec schedule for the rest of year just picking out the three star and better fights looks something like this (fights highlighted in green are the ones we'll have in for sure, the rest kinda optional)

        NOVEMBER

11/19 William Zepeda vs Roberto Ramirez
11/21 Yves Ulyesse vs Mathieu Germain
11/21 Conor Benn vs Sebastian Formella
11/27 Tony Yoka vs Christain Hammer
        11/27 Michael Magnesivs Patrick Kinigamazi
11/27 Chayaphon Moonsri vs Panya Pradabsri
11/27 Danny Jacobs vs Gabe Rosado
11/28 Musashi Mori vs Tsuyoshi Tameda
11/28 Daniel Dubois vs Joe Joyce

        DECEMBER

12/2 James ****ens vs Ryan Walsh
12/2 Ricards Bolotniks vs Serge Michel

12/3 Ayaka Miyao vs Etsuko Tada
12/3 Brandon Adams vs Serhei Bohachuk
12/4 Billie Joe Saunders vs Martin Murray
12/4 Keiron Conway vs Keiran Smith
12/5 Errol Spence vs Danny Garcia
12/5 Sebastian Fundora vs Jorges Cota
12/5 Julio Ceja vs Eduardo Ramirez
12/12 Joe Parker vs Junior Fa
12/12 Kubrat Pulev vs Anthony Joshua
12/12 Lawrence Okolie vs Krzystof Glowacki

12/12 Felix Verdejo vs Masayoshi Nakatani
12/13 Aresen Goulamarian vs Yury Kashinski
12/13 Michel Soro vs Ismail Iliev
12/16 Tim Tsyzu vs Bowyn Morgan
12/17 Charles Conwell vs Madiyar Ashkeyev
12/19 Nonito Donaire vs Emmanuel Rodriguez
        12/19 Jarron Ennis vs TBA
12/26 Masayuki Ito vs Hironori Mishiro
12/31 Kazuto Ioka vs Kosei Tanaka.

Now I make that 11 guaranteed fights before New Year which I'd say is probably enough, but if enough players are keen on having a few more in I'd be more than happy to look at some of the other fights on the list.

EDIT: Leaning towards maybe having Saunders vs Murray in too, just for old times sake, got a soft spot for Murray. If Saunders has been taking things remotely seriously though it does have the makings of a whitewash.

Looking to stack 'em high huh?

I ain't really got much issue with this weeks 3 star fights but the Boo Boo and Jack fights next week have all the appearance of huge mismatches.

Yeah I know Harrison and McKernan are both technically unbeaten but they also neither fought anyone worth a damn. Only thing that makes Boo Boo vs Harrison a little more attractive is that we already got one fight on that card and it saves me a coupla minutes work to do fights from the same card.

It's been a weird year and we've seen a few cherry picks gone wrong. Sometimes the undefeated prospect comes like a hungry lion and snatches victory away from the champ... or at the very least, drags him into a war and earns a lot of respect in defeat. So... we can dream... after all, anything is possible in the sport of boxing.

December looks jam-packed, and with the holidays coming up I might miss a few fights. Junior Fa holds a prized amateur victory over Parker, so this one could be fireworks! The Fundora kid is really fun to watch, and this is his first 12-rounder, so...

12/5 Sebastian Fundora vs Jorges Cota
12/12 Joe Parker vs Junior Fa

I like Joseph Parker vs Junior Fa. And maybe Billy Joe Saunders vs Martin Murray.

Too bad Sir Koba didn't include the Joshua Greer Jr. vs. Edwin Rodriguez fight in last week's pick'em... haha

Mmm. Reckon I'll transfer the forthcoming fights discussion to a new thread, see whether I can get a few more opinions on it.

I'd agree that Parker vs Fa should be in having given it some more thought, ain't so often our antipodean cousins get a look in and this ones's got some genuine intrigue.

I'll see if I can get some odds up as well, though likely the ones we're undecided on probably won't have anything up yet.
