Watching it on TV, I thought Jack had done enough for a 7-5 rounds decision (with both getting a 10-8 for their KD). Pascal would flurry in the last 10-20 seconds of close rounds that may have stolen a few.
The fact that Pascal has done well in close fights and Jack hasn't is telling. It's not like Pascal has some heavy promotion behind him and Jack does have TMT whatever that is worth. I think some fighters have a style that resonates more with judges at ringside as opposed to those watching on TV. Other fighters seem to have the opposite.
Maybe the judges don't see or appreciate the body punching, maybe Pascal's wild, looping haymakers are more eye catching but whatever it is, I suspect it's not anything corrupt.
