Comments Thread For: Crawford: Andy Ruiz Will Bounce Back, Come Back Stronger

Heavyweight Andy Ruiz had a mixed bag of tricks in 2019. Coming in as a late replacement for Jarrell Miller in June, the Mexican heavyweight shocked the world when he scored four knockdowns and stopped Anthony Joshua in the seventh round to capture the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles.

Crawford is right and so is Holyfield. Ruiz is still in the mix as a top HW and needs to train accordingly.

Well, Ruiz couldn't prepare any worse.

If he got any fatter and less mobile they would need a fork lift to get him in the ring.

“Ruiz is going to bounce back?goes down as the most unintentionally funny thing I’ve read all year. The keyword being bounce.

Ruiz can be champion again. He needs three competitive wins to get to the top again.

I can't see Andy ever beating AJ again
I can't ever see Andy beating Wilder or Fury.

It was a 1 shot deal. Andy wasn't the 1st and won't be the last under dog to temporarily win a crown.
