No need to argue over what will be a bunch of bullchit
We don’t see eye to eye , not the first or last time
It’s just funny how Floyd fans bring up the testing when we speak of Manny
I guess he didn’t need excuses to fight the others
With all the BS concerning Floyd's personal services contract with USADA and the retroactive TUE for the illegal IV that USADA gave Floyd, Pacquiao was proven right to be skeptical of Floyd and his "Olympic Style Testing" lol
Another fact that doesn't get much attention is the first contract that USADA sent to Pacquiao, stated that TUE's could be granted without notifying the other fighter. Pacquiao sent it back unsigned.

      Pure and simple bullchit
I’d agree to it if Floyd did this with all his opponents but chit , we sure know that wasn’t the case
Now in the history books , it’ll be stated as a Pac loss and I guess that’s all that counts
But deep down we know the bullchit that went on etc etc etc

The two biggest holes in the "Floyd waited til Manny wasn't prime" theory have to do with what actually happened during the years the fight wasn't made and with who would actually benefit by waiting.

The truth is, it's easily documented that Arum and Manny did more to block making the fight than they did to make it, especially between late 2009 thru the end of 2013. Manny refused random testing in '09 and '10 and asked his fans to believe him when he claimed it "weakened" him. That was Arum in late 2011 saying Floyd would not be available in May 2012; then when Floyd went to a judge to make sure he'd be available, it was Arum saying Manny's cut from a Dec 2011 fight might not be healed in time for May and that an outdoor stadium needed to be built and there wasn't enough time. Then, of course, Manny got KTFO in Dec '12, was out almost a year, then took a soft touch in Rios for his comeback.

That takes us all the way to 2014, folks. The fight happened in 2015.

These things are facts and folks who want to claim Mayweather delayed the fight need to explain how these things were not relevant, need to explain how whatever Floyd did was more significant in avoiding the fight than these clear and irrefutable delaying tactics.

The other argument is more common sense than anything. They claim Pac was going thru more wear and tear while completely ignoring the fact that Floyd was fighting the tougher competition from 2010 thru 2014. He fought Canelo and Cotto above 147. He fought a better version of Mosley than Pac saw. And he fought 2 tough bruising fights vs Maidana. Who, on Pac's resume between 2010 and 2014 beats Canelo and Cotto at 154? No one, that's who.

Besides the whole "aging" argument is stillborn when you consider the styles of both fighters.

As you get older, your reflexes naturally get slower.

That's a problem for an offensive fighter...but that's an even worse dilemma for a defensive fighter who relies on those reflexes to block and slip punches. They say power is the last thing to go, but how many times have you heard a great fighter in his last post fight interview say "I knew what I wanted to do but I couldn't get my body to do it"?

The biggest fight of his life, and one of the smartest fighters ever to lace them up is going to wait til he is 38 to fight the greatest offensive threat in a generation while that threat is still hurting people?

        Okay, if you say so...

Hit the guys with the facts bro.
Floyd ducked Prime Manny, it’s as simple as that.

That’s why he can’t be considered the greatest because all of his fights have asterisks next to them.

In fact it made more sense for Floyd to fight Manny in 2009 which he tried to do before the steroids testing got in the way.

Floyd was 38 years old during the fight. Floyd never gets credit for dominating an atg at such an advanced age. At the same age, Muhammad Ali was getting his ass beat by Larry Holmes and everyone cited Ali's age as an excuse to downplay Holmes victory.
                - -Other than Manny being 1 yr younger than Preboy, what grade U in now?

Mayweather fans totally ignore the 15+ excuses Floyd came up with not to fight Pacquiao.
A person has to be delusional to act like Floyd never said those things. What are they "fake" videos?
I mean did somebody use Floyd like a ventriloquist dummy or threaten to kidnap his money, to make him say that stuff?

Dude. Nobody cares about none of your Floyd facts. They just want the fights with no excuses.

Your main responsibility as chief Floyd Boy is to dig up all these excuses. We have the abnormal amount of posts you have as backup.

Oscar, Hatton, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah. Floyd wasn't pushing his ost agenda on those guys was he? Gtfoh.

Jr. evaded a prime Pac because Pac's style would of cracked Jr.'s defense at 140lbs or 147lbs.

History shows that an older defensive fighter typically beats an older aggressive fighter. An aggressive fighter like Pac based his style on speed, activity rate and power. All of which suffered dramatically as he aged (as it does for almost all aggressive boxers).

Not only did Jr. stale out the fight, he also made Pac fight him at a weight where Pac was always a little dude. He suffered just to get up to the weight on his fight nights. Jr. meanwhile had no issue getting upwards of 150lbs on fight nights. He looked the larger guy against Pac to further nullify any chance Pac had. However let's forget their fight, it was a farce. I still maintain that if Jr. had fought Pac in his prime, Pac would of probably not stopped him but got the UD based on activity rate.
