      Is this a joke?

If this were 1997-2007 Briggs it might be worth a discussion.

Briggs easily ,Wilder was still green against decent fighters. Wilder was almost knocked out by Molina around this time, Briggs would have K.O'd Wilder and he declined the 2 million offered to him. The Stiverne fight would tell us about this one ,Briggs was still a threat here and a big puncher with a chin .

Briggs is older than any active heavyweight besides Luis Ortiz.

Jesus wept what is it with Wilder and picking on 50 year olds

Yeah I remember this, both only have a few vocabularies (Lets go champ - Briggs), (I don’t play boxing, i take this seriously - Wilder)... Same thing they both say to every rivals/opponents.

Really Wilder would be a slight favorite here, are you guys actually checking who wilder fought and watching Wilder struggle with in shape Stiverne in 2015 ? The answer is no and as someone pointed out Wilder was offered 2 million to fight Briggs and turned it down and that would have been the biggest puncher he has faced even today or on same grounds as Breazeale type power .

In a street fight? Whoever lands first. In a boxing match? Wilder by KO whenever he decides to land a right hand.

Briggs was never much good even in his prime. Can we quit overhyping people from every past era? See it all the time on here.
