          salido was ranked #2 when loma fought him. yeah what a bum huh? what was sosa ranked? unranked. what was castellnaos ranked? unranked. nice false equivalency though. also if loma had gone on to struggle and lose many fights after the salido fight then yes you would have a point since thats what gaboa did but loma has beaten like 7 top 10 fighters since then to gamboas zero. big difference!

          gamboa did beat him. gamboa was really good in his prime. so was roy jones. roy jones was not good when he was shot and old. neither is gamboa. how is that a logic fail? are you implying that fighters never age and never become bad at boxing? thats a logic fail.

                well davis has a slim resume but hes done more than gamboa the past 6 years. he also hasn't been beat up, knocked out, etc...like gamboa. hes also in his prime. hes also the a-side. why wouldn't he be favored? if those gold medals and previous success mattered so much like you say they do why isn't gamboa the favorite?                       I guess you can see how special Davis is as a fighter, despite beating around the bush.
