He got straight back in there and exorcised his demons in emphatic fashion, capping off what has been a tremendous year for british boxing. That was a performance for the purists and arguably the performance of the year given the circumstances and pressure.

The pressure that man was under was unreal, he rose to the occasion and proved a lot of experts wrong..
Some idiots were even advising him to retire......

Some of the commentary leading up to the fight was hilarious, as was a lot of posts here, that was to be expected though.
As if this result wasn't entirely predictable. I'm not saying I 100 percent knew the outcome, no one ever does, but to think that a Olympic gold medalist unified champ couldn't adjust and just fight the obvious smart fight wasn't a possibility just astounds me.
Probably the same people that complain that Joshua didn't sit in the pocket and trade with Ruiz and go for the KO.
Sure Joshua just won 4 HW belts and made $80M, but what he should have done is follow this other high risk strategy which got him KOd last time, because reasons.

I feel like he had a lot of pressure going in, that’s why he didn’t take any chances, the pressure from himself, Matchroom, sky, mates, the whole country, and especially the fact that if he loses then getting a chance at the belts with it been control by PBC, would have been none existent, since they wouldn’t want to work with Matchroom unless Joshua signs for them.

To be honest though, I'm not sure how that chin will hold up against wilder lol
If he boxes against Wilder then he has a chance, but not boxing away, staying in the pocket and box, with Fury I think he can box the way he did yesterday, since Fury isn’t coming there to stop Joshua.
