He also rocked him several times but didn’t rush in, you could see it was killing him not to engage, but he either clinched or moved out at an angle.
Ruiz was dangerous whenever they were up close, but more or less followed him round the ring not doing much other than being targeted practice for a snapping jab.
He landed 65 jabs in 12 rounds... not exactly Larry Holmes like... Overall he landed 9 punches/round. 107 landed out of 373... Larry Holmes like eh? Lol!

There is No big four. Only big three. Fury, Wilder and Joshua.

Time to find out who is the best. i don`t give a damn about belts.

Pulev, Usyk, Whyte, Chisora can fight each other for free belts.

I can imagine it. Tyson vs Saturday's version of AJ would, I imagine, look a lot like Tyson vs Lewis.

Which is to say, the smaller man with the shorter arms held at bay by the long jab of the tall boxer and unable to get inside.

Ruiz would have defeated Parker if it wasn’t in New Zealand . We get it ,anyone AJ defeats are bums but are world beaters prior . Ha

Every fighter has more ring skills than Wilder, he still knocks them the f#ck out! That's why Wilder is my boy - he delivers brutal, highlight-reel KOs, he generates buss.

And never in a million years would he go for a points win like AJ did last night, especially against a midget, pre stomach-clamped obesity warning like Andy.

If you've been following what's happening you'll know the situations regarding the IBF and WBO.
I'm gonna assume he'll drop the Wbo for his stablemate Usyk to snatch up and fight Pulev(joke of a fight) to satisfy his IBF mandatory. Depending on what nonsense Match room has planned they might let the Joshua/Usyk fight marinate or they might do it latter part of 2020(if at all). Whats the use in trying to figure out what crooks and frauds will do? I'm just along for the ride like everyone else.

As far as I'm concerned all of the networks/apps, promotional companies, managers, sanctioning belt bodies and drug testing organizations are full of s--t. Most of the fighters and their camps are as well. So I call it how I see it. People can characterize it how they like.

Props to Joshua for coming in better prepared and sticking to his game plan but still didn’t look that impressive against a shorter slower very fat unprepared challenger.
I dont know man, he didnt destroy Ortiz very quick in fight one, a fit Stiverne, or Fury, whos chin isnt iron. I accept he could take out anyone, but he hasn't been hit by anything like Joshua either, and hes been badly hurt himself, floored too.Deontay likes to plant hes feet, hes off balance when a guy moves. I could see AJ outboxing him, because he barely throws.

Very simple. Joshua just fought to survive, clinching everytime Ruiz was throwing a punch and the ****** ref didn´t even warn him for hugging. Boring fight, Joshua fought like the typical Black fighter, just running, hugging and jabbing, usinr Ruiz´s overweight to his advantage.

Regarding using Ruiz's heavy weight to his advantage -- yes, naturally. What is wrong with adopting a strategically advantageous approach? You are supposed to take advantage of your opponent's flaws.
