He didn’t put on that much weight. Those hats are heavier than they look

I’m glad he didn’t lose weight for the fight

I think his plan for Saturday is pretty obvious... Get inside at all cost and bully U.K's hope in the first half of the fight... He never intended to look like a ballerina anyway...
And how will he cope with that extra weight down the long stretch? I mean the last super heavy guy we saw have high volume throughout entire 12 rds was Jarrell Miller, so I doubt Ruiz will cope 12 rds throwing a lot.

AJ just needs to follow the fight plan, stick to range double up on the jab and lean down on Ruiz when Ruiz tries to bullrush him.

There is no long stretch in Ruiz mind... If/When he gets to AJ he's gonna faze him, just like in the 1st fight... He knows where to aim...

The longer the fight, the more it goes towards Joshua... Even Ruiz knows it...

I see no way at all that the extra weight won't be detrimentental and that Joshua's weight loss won't benefit him.

I was riding with Andy but this is a rather revolting development.

Well, Lamon Brewster knocked Wladimir up pretty bad but in their rematch was a one sided beat down. Not all rematches play out the same way, the fact both guys have a full training camp to prepare for their man will make a big difference to the quality of fight.

Yeah, but the only difference is AJ QUIT!!!!!!!!!

                His confidence is completely shot.

How many hard rounds can Ruiz go now? AJ probably will have to weather 5 tough rounds, after that he will should be able to tee off on Ruiz. If Ruiz gets dropped mid to late rds., he probably wont be able to lift up that nearly 300 lbs anymore.

You clowns realize that could be from him training harder and his weight increased due to more muscle and LESS fat. He beyond fully clothed and therefore did not add 15 pounds of fat. Ignorance

You could argue Wladimir quit against Sanders, sometimes things go wrong and you gas completely. If he continued he'd have inevitably have been stopped. I think I'll place a bet if odds are okay.
