Floyd is retired from boxing but occasionally comes to make money. He has earned that right, there are enough people willing to buy his fights so he will continue doing so. People can be salty all they want but he put himself out there and got people interested in what he does. Right now he is still relevant which shows how important he is. Whether you like him or hate him you somehow have feelings towards Mayweather and you will buy. He got himself people interested and that’s all that matters.

I don't care about Wilder's comments really...he is just saying out loud what a lot of people feel inside.

But let's just be real for a second...if a white boxer said this he would probably get suspended...just pointing it out for all those who swear there is some agenda against guys like Wilder and Crawford out there...the double standard usually goes the other way these days:

What I see in Wilder is a man who will not sell his soul or self-respect as these things are priceless. I also believe Wilder is basically an honest man but perhaps thinks too highly of himself. In time he will be humbled but it's my bet he'll accept this lesson in life in a dignified fashion.
