Wilder is wasting his time. We will see a Holmes vs Mike Tyson rematch before a Wilder Fury rematch.

All the so called top heavyweights have a loss waiting to happen. Although Wilder is the least technical, he's the last I'll bet against bc of his crazy power. AJ is too robotic n quite chinny. The "fury is a master boxer" talk is very exaggerated, and he has piss poor power. I really don't see any of them as elite, and I wouldn't be surprised to see someone raw like DDD kayo any of the three.

I honestly don't understand why this guy is training at all, yes he needs to do the conditioning training but when it comes to boxing this guy is useless anyway, why waste your time deontay?! You have no skills whatsoever..you have one punch and you don't need to train for that. The old bum Ortiz out boxed him the entire fight till he landed his usual lucky punch lol

Like a lot of other posters, I'm seriously concerned that Fury doesn't actually want to get in the ring with Wilder again. He seems to have a clear path to making millions in WWE talking trash and throwing fake punches.
Wilder's team and PBC need to have an opponent in reserve for when Fury gets "injured" in early February and pulls out. They could put Kownacki on the undercard with the plan to move him up to the main event, but it's a waste of Kownacki's ability to draw a crowd for him to fight Wilder anywhere but New York or Chicago.
Joe Joyce is another option to put on the undercard. They could market Joyce's silver medal and a few decent names on his resume, but it would be a destruction IMO given Wilder's speed advantage.
Once it becomes clear that Fury doesn't want the rematch, Wilder's team can start building to a unification with the Ruiz-Joshua winner.

Originally posted by SHO_RULEZ View PostYou know...I'm having doubts that this rematch is coming off in February...it's not anything on Wilder's side! He knocked Ortiz out, he's pumped up, he's going into camp, let's go! No, it's the lack of exuberance on the FURY side.
Number one, Fury's performance in his last fight, in which he suffered a gash, was not his best performance. Two, while he offered a critique of Wilder's knockout of Ortiz, it wasn't in any way a reassurance that he truly wants this rematch in February. Also keep in mind that it was Fury that aligned himself with a promoter that would make it nearly impossible to secure a fight with an AL Haymon guy!
His business moves show he doesn't want this rematch, and his behavior!
Also in terms of Fury’s last performance, what does that matter when it comes to who he fights next? Fury has been inconsistent all his career anyway. His performances before the Wlad fight and first Wilder fight weren’t exactly special. So i don’t think his last fight has any real impact on the Wilder fight happening.
Also, you can’t knock Fury for making his own business moves. Wilder made his own moves with Showtime (which seemingly hasn’t worked out and he’s fighting on Fox),but at the time Wilder was signing a 3 fight deal with Showtime. AJ has his own broadcaster too etc..
So Fury going getting his own deal rather than having to work on everyone else’s terms is no different to what any other top fighter is doing.Last edited by deathofaclown; 11-28-2019, 04:55 AM.

It seems to me that Deontay is on a mission. He really wants this. Fury better be ready because Wilder is both determined and focused.

Decent??? Lmao
You call 42-0-1 with 41 knockouts “decent”. Lmao you should stick to being a couch potato 🥔. You don’t have to like the way he talks, looks, dresses, his tattoos, the way he fights, etc. what you do have to respect is his flawless record and the fact he’s dropped EVERY man he’s faced. If it were so simple and easy EVERYONE in the heavyweight division would be doing the same thing. Mind you the man didn’t start boxing until he was in his twenties. He was a truck driver before that. Hate all you want but there’s never been a heavyweight like him!
