Can we have a Canelo fight not marred by controversy ?

A lot of folks here making fun of the accusations of fix in the Kovalev fight.

Now, even if one rejects that theory, can we all at least agree that almost every Canelo fight always gets surrounded by controversy ?

    Why is that ?

If Canelo's fights aren't scripted or fixed in some way, then how come there's always elements of controversy in all of them, starting from the Floyd bout back 6 years ago ?

Nobody ever breaks down the Floyd fight because it messes with their agenda. Most Canelo haters, even the ones that hate Floyd, say Floyd beat him in every round. That’s either they didn’t watch the fight or know how to score fights. Canelo at the very least scored 4 rounds, and the rounds for Canelo given show the points being justified. If Moretti was biased he wouldn’t have given the fight to GGG1. Byrd had Khan beating Canelo...

Writers in our sport are designed to cause controversy because it’s minimalized to just two guys.

This effect has also shown with propaganda against Lebron James... it’s all by design. Look at Floyd’s last 6 fights with Showtime to 49-0. The matchmaking (including 152) was designed so well that Floyd wouldn’t lose. The last attempt to disrupt Floyd to get 49-0 was IV gate to Berto. But because Berto is not even a threat, nobody even talked about this fight.

Youre over thinking the past to create a conspiracy theory for the present, even as children we had the boogie man and I think a lot of grown up still see a boogie man where there isnt one.

Sometimes things are as presented and are distorted by what you think you know.

It's because he is a diva who either cherry picks nobodies (Liam Smith, Rocky Fielding, etc.), relinquished his belts to avoid worth challengers (GGG), loses fights and gets the decisions (Lara, Trout), dodges fighters in their prime and then waits until they are older and still loses (but gets point victory, because his only way to lose now is a KO ), and he fixes fights (Kovalev).

Oh did I forget to tell that he tested positive to PEDs twice?

I'm not saying he is a **** fighter, he is a very good fighter (just not great at all sorry).

Stopped reading here. Conspiracy theories don’t include the public, and boxing/scoring isn’t finite like a meter poll measuring how many yards a a player gained or if a penalty kick should’ve been awarded. Boxing has too much flexibility with preference and subjectivity.
