The problem with Larry's opinion is that there is no consensus best light heavyweight right now. Kovalev has won the most titles, he has the best resume, and he is the most well-known. Bivol is getting better, but still has a lot to prove. Beterbiev only has 14 or 15 fights, he is not a young man, his career was stalled for 3 years. Canelo made the right choice.
