Boxing invented WWE. Boxing always has fixes in every era. To believe this era is the era of clean fighting is really, really, ****ing silly.

What's also really, really silly is trying to detective the fixes from the reals while they're happening. The **** is the point? You are almost guaranteed to have missed most, not some, not a few, ****ing most fixes.

Some folks say AJ losing was too perfect for his narrative to be true.

Some folks claim like half of Wilder's fights is fixed, the Draw was predetermined, Scott KO was a deal between friends, etc.

Folks is gonna see or not see what they want to. Boxing fans ought to enjoy the show anyway.

Because you don't giva **** who Jem Ward is presently you should not give a **** if Canelo ia Jem Ward today. You should just enjoy the show and wait for the book.
    Well your point is taken.
There are apparently some youngins here who say fights are fixed when they are not. And when some are fixed [obvious to me] these types can't see it.

While AJ-Ruiz prob had the usual corrupt judges [at least 2] the fight itself was not.

I've written that to me the most obviously fixed recent fight--in a sense that the 2 boxers were in on it--was Clenelo vs JCC Jr.

Jr only threw a hard punch after he saw Clenelo bring both hands to his face. Then the video announcing of the big GGG fight.
No one here IIRC had their eyes/brains working. But they are quick to say some fights are fixed that are not. So I agree with you to some extent.

I don't think Kovalev would do that. Anybody who knows Russians knows they're very proud people.

I think Kovalev wants to 'make up' for the Ward fights with this fight. Think we might see the old Krusher once he realizes Canelo can't hurt him and he'll put a beating on ginger.

We'll see either the best or the best version of Kovalev in years in this fight.

Well I hope you are right.
But there's many millions involved here and in the future and Oscar is usually very stingy in paying the other side. Kov prob would have taken this fight for far less money, so...
That's why I am saying this.
        We'll soon see.

So you are saying all of it should be taken with a grain of salt? I don't believe that - of course promoters can conspire with judges and networks to ensure certain cash cows win and steer up and coming ones to be on the right track to make them $$$ but to say ALL of it seems a bit far fetched.

If you disagree I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

I see now all the new threads saying fixed.
                Which I wrote hours ago.

You heard Kov kind of stutter when asked why he hardly threw his right.
