Ward always trained as hard as any fighter but for the second fight with Kovalev he trained even harder.
He makes a good point about Kovalev not acknowledging his mistakes or learning from experience and he's right about it being a "calculated risk" for Alvarez. But Ward's wrong when he says that saying it's a "calculated risk" doesn't take away from what Canelo is doing. Of course it does, otherwise why say it?

Canelo doesn't have to bulk up and probably shouldn't. He'll be just over 175 and Kovalev will be just over 180. Canelo needs to worry more about running out of gas before Kovalev does. Size isn't really even an issue here.
If Canelo wins it, he won't be bulling his way in like Ward, he'll need to bob and weave his way, he'll need quickness.

And Ward fought Alexander Brand before Kovalev... derp derp derp
No Canelo fans trip over the Fielding fight. We all know it was a Regular belt. Canelo got better fights to come. It was Canelo’s fight in December..lol. A stay busy fight like Ward vs Alexander.
Quit exaggerating. Lol

Canelo likely walks around at 180-185. LHW will be easy for him to make and allow him to enter the ring at his full strength. No draining down. Kind of hard to cut that weight now without the CLEN.
