Thanks. I am just calling it as I see it. There were a consensus of 3 top level heavyweights. Only 2 were willing to fight each other and one guy thoroughly outclassed the other for the overwhelming majority of the fight. The biggest mark on the 3rd guys resume before he got knocked out was the win over Wladimir Klitchko but Fury beat him a year and a half earlier.

Andy Ruiz's victory puts him in the top 3 instead of Joshua. But he was much lower on the rankings before the fight and because of the reasons I mentioned above there is no reason to place him higher than 3rd. He hasn't earned it yet.

Wow, I can't believe Andy, the only unified champion, is actually dead last.

BoxingScene Heavyweight Champions Deontay 'The Bronze Bomber" Wilder leads by only 1 with a total of 35

Deontay is the longest reigning HW champion with the most defenses, KOs, and wins. He is unbeaten and the reigning WBC HW champion. He is the only man to draw lineal champion Tyson Fury. 41(40KO)-0-1

His next fight is with WBC rank 3 HW Luis Ortiz 31(26KO)-1&2NC

Next up is lineal HW champion Tyson "The Gypsy King" Fury with 34 votes. Tyson Fury is the man who dethroned the decade long reigning champion Wladimir Klitschko in a very one sided decision win. He's also the only man to draw Deontay Wilder and the WBC Mayan champion. 29(20KO) -0-1.

His next fight is with 189(120)-129-13 Braun Strowman.

Last up with 33 votes is Andy " the Destroyer " Ruiz Jr. He is the only unified HW champion, the first Mexican HW champion holding the WBA Super, IBF, and WBO crowns, and he's rated number one by Boxrec and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. 33(22KO)-1-0

His next fight is with former WBA Super, IBF & WBO HW champion Anthony Joshua 22(21KO)-1-0

There isn’t a heavyweight champion and there hasn’t been one since Fury retired after beating Klitschko. This thread offers evidence of that fact.

Can you do me a favor and copy and paste a list of lineal HW champions you recognize and post that for me?

I am currently doing research into Ring's effect on lineal, I'm wondering if I shouldn't go into the transnational as well. It's a bit ahead of the era I'm looking at currently, but when I get there I probably need to look them and their effect on lineal as well.

Anyway, I would appreciate it. One of the key goals of my research to to gather the various definitions of lineal.

Edit- actually just about anywhere I look formatting is going to make copy/paste work a pain in the ****. I'd very much appreciate a full list, but I understand if you can't be bothered with that. The first five and last five you recognize isn't so bad though right? Can you do me at least a list of ten, first five lineals ever and the last five lineals ever? Be a big help really.

Fury is slowly falling behind, Wilder's getting close to 40%

                    Hey sorry just saw this.

I saw your other thread and you seemed to find your info. Do you still need me to do it?

I'd appreciate it all the same, but, I've been asking all over social media, so, really, no pressure.
