Why Boxing referees are so atrotious to other sports???

For real, in Baseball judges should make decisions with a difference of milliseconds: catching flying ball on a base or a runner's leg, strike or ball, was base player's leg still touching the moment he received a ball or he was off-the-base etc.

In Football - same: whether player touched a ball first before kicking opponent's leg in a slide or not, whose touch was the last before going out, was there an off side at the moment of pass, was there a ricochet etc.

By no means a flying baseball or a football is slower nor easier to see than a punch throw from a 3-4 feet distance of referee's eyes!

Then how the fk can these blind mfers 'miss' a clear punch calling it a 'low blow', miss low-blows calling those 'legal punch', miss elbows, rabbit punches... HOW??!

The actual question is how these referees still have a job?

I am watching Derev-GGG fight and pissed already from numerous 'keep it up' where Derev CLEARLY lands a legit punch, not even at a belt line! Remember that 5-th round body shot? Replay shows that it wasn't accident of referee crushing into GGG, referee ON PURPOSE ran into fighters seeing a 'low blow' landed into center of arm block, FFS!
Even worse! Next 20 seconds till very end of round he was interfering the fight jumping inbetween fighters acting like an obstacle, look at it!

We still remember Kovalev-Ward 2 finish with double low-blow even if previous punches could be called belt-liners.
We still remember Salido's 40 low-blows into Loma's thugs.
We still remember Briedis-Glowacki disaster with elbow, no rest and rumbling far after the bell!

If referee can't do their job in THIS sport where it's way easier to see AND where there is a risk to health and of permanent damage... they should be sent to pension, FFS! They can't referee sht!

In boxing there is only one ref. Think about that for a minute. One ref watching two guys throw upwards of 100 punches per round at the high end. Not many humans can be error free at that rate. In team sports you have MANY refs covering the action. You're also ignoring how incompetence and corruption plays into it. That said, refs in team sports still systematically eff up all the time.

I find NFL officials to be far more incompetent/corrupt. Now boxing judges are another story.

But every following round punches thrown are slower. And ref doesn't have to count punches, all he needs to do is call those against the rules. From what I see, reffering a fight is damn easy job considering working in other sports.

To say its a damn easy job is a bit comical, ease up on the hyperbole. And the ref obviously doesn't have to count punches, duh. But he does have to track them, otherwise how are they going to know if a punch low or hit behind the head, back etc?
