Eras are made when fighters want to cement their legacies. Tyson Fury, Andy Ruiz, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua can all stake their claims to being the best in the world today, but only will we definitively know...

"I’m ready to fight these guys,” Usyk said after putting Witherspoon through a slow, painful and methodical beatdown."

Lol....slow? yes! painful? Ummm not so much....tiring for sure, Witherspoon ...just gassed out and that's pretty much all that happened, Usyk couldn't hurt him.

I'd like to see Usyk next fight Oscar Rivas. That'll prove he can hang with someone durable and he'll a big length advantage even though Rivas a proven HW. Good fight for both.

... like most people here, never been enthusiastic about Usyk's run at the HW...

... but it's about money -- money he couldn't have made at the CW...

Dude was WBO 'Super' Champ at Cruiser. Gives him the right to request mandatory status in the adjacent divisions.

            2. (2) ELIGIBILITY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR DESIGNATION AS THE MANDATORY CHALLENGER IN HIGHER OR LOWER DIVISION. If requested by a Super Champion, the Championship Committee may designate the Super Champion as the mandatory challenger for the immediate higher or lower division.

Oilskin Parker would give Usyk more than he could handle.

Hopefully that'll be both guys next fight on Fast Eddie's bandwagon.

This guy is boring ass shit and sucks major balls. I thought his performance on Saturday night was both shameful and disgraceful.

Are you not aware that when you get tired you are easier to hit clean and cannot take punches as well? If they didn't stop the fight Witherspoon would've been KO'd. Go back to MMA/WWE or whatever you were a fan of before boxing, you know nothing.

Ever hear about legacy or daring to be great? Of course it's also about money. He's a pro boxer! He already conquered CW. There's nothing left for him to prove there. He's already successful but wants to see how good he can be. Why wouldn't you want to take the best possible financial opportunities if they also reflect the biggest challenges?
