I know people say you can’t choose your family but you can damn well control them, she knows are family quite well, she might be in denial about them being trashy but they truly are.

She needs to control who comes to her weigh in or her fights, better yet sit your behind down unless you are in the actual boxing team.

She doesn’t get a paid for training, sparring and not fighting. And as much as this wasn’t a fault it was a member of her family that has cause all of this distress. So in a way it’s from her side of the “Streets”

I love this and I agree! You’re absolutely correct...she’s in denial about her family.

The sad part is, I believe she’ll feel guilty if she corrects one of them to the point of having them removed from her camp, events, and fights.

Most people have to understand, she comes from NOTHING, so watching her family enjoy the fruits of her labor probably makes her feel accomplished and happy to “give back”.

Problem is...now her family is effing up the money...this is where the reigns need to be pulled.

If I had to take a guess, I’d say she doesn’t want to deal with the backlash after having to rid herself of the toxic members. We ALL know how this goes...the minute you stand up for yourself and say “no”, those who you’ve helped or allow to get over on you will make you out to be the worst person in the world.

I hate it for her, but this is the point where she needs to grow up and realize all family isn’t good good to be around...especially when it hurts your pockets.

Just think, I’m allllllmost sure she takes care of them (which costs money), and she probably just missed out on a payday, so where does that put her now?

Family (especially broke ones and ones that are a flat-out liability) can be your worst opponent.
