Even if you're a hardcore Wilder fan, I don't think anyone would attempt to sugar-coat his career to make out he's a HOF candidate. If he can beat all the top heavies and keep the belts for a few years, then I don't think anyone could complain. Right now? He has a record of a title challenger not HOF champion.
