Who should Keith Thurman fight next?

    Who should Thurman fight next?

Thurman's coming off a close loss and surgery, and won't return until some TBA date in 2020. But he was talking about how he beat Porter clearer than Spence, and how Danny Garcia hits much harder than Porter and will be a tough fight for Spence. He's also talking about how he wasn't 100% against Lopez and Pacquiao.

    Thurman:
"The surgery was a bone fusion, so they fused some of my metacarpals, there is not an issue with my fingers or the knuckles that I make a fist with. It feels so much better now. Right after surgery, it was quite painful with a lot of initial swelling. Right now, it feels good and it's not swollen as it was. I'm not on any pain meds or anything. It bothered me in camp and disrupted my preparations more than anything, which is another reason I decided to get the surgery now instead of waiting and doing it later, I can't promise I would be the same Keith Thurman and I couldn't promise a great comeback if I were to keep fighting in the condition I was in. Losing to Pacquiao is evidence you can't be a one-handed champion. If you really want to be the best in the world, you have to be the best you can be to fight any type of world-class fighter. Even with one hand, I fought a hell of a fight."

Will Thurman fight once or twice in 2020?

Porter rematch? Danny Garcia rematch? Pacquiao rematch? Lipinets? Mikey? Ugas? Spence? Crawford?

Yeah, he might have. We won't really know about Thurman for 2-3 years. He needs to work his way back up slowly at this point. Hope he stays in shape while his hand heals. He shouldn't be punching but he better be running and putting in some kind of work.

            Time will tell.

Thurman is a big crybaby full of excuses. He is trying to beat Spence by proxy by saying he beat Porter better than Spence did but he has refused to fight Spence all these years that Spence has been challenging him to fight. Let him fight Porter now and see if he can beat today's Porter. I think Spence beat a better Porter than the Porter Thurman beat and Spence beat Porter by a wider amount that Thurman did. I don't think today's Thurman is as good as when he beat Porter.

I think Porter would beat Thurman in a rematch.
