Spence - Crawford sell by date.

It's going to have to be one of Spence's next two fights. I'm not sure he'll still be able to make 147 in 2021, at least not comfortably.

Good point...also, as we have seen with AJ-Wilder...the marinate option often times does not pan out too well...Manny lost in the Floyd build up too...you put Spence and TC in with enough good comp at 147, and they will be tested.

This fight should absolutely be next...but because it's boxing it won't be...truth be told though TC-Spence should be a 1 million PPV type fight and it probably wouldn't sell 1/4th of that...so I can see why there is no rush on that end.

The fact that Errol was saying he doesnt got a S&C guy or a food guy tells me he could likely make 147 for awhile longer if he hired those guys for his team & took sh^t more seriously.

So idk about Errol being done at 147 by 2021. I do think he will wanna move to 154 around that time doe 2021 or 2022.

I think another issue is Bud is 32 & he migt have a year or two left of his best years if hes not already past prime.

He is not a growing teenager. He is a fully mature full grown man of 29 years old and is all done growing or gaining weight, He can stay at 147 as long as he wants to. He can stay at 147 until he retires. Arum has to offer him lots of money for him to fight Crawford and to date Arum hasn't offered him a dime. I doubt he will fight Crawford any time soon.

Yep, I agree. Just fight before an Andy Ruiz type spoils the party.

I'm confused about what you're saying. He himself is on Twitter saying it's a struggle to make it to 147 by having to lose 25+ pounds.

... Spence just said on Twitter that he had to give up some +25 lb during camp...

Crawford is 32, his decline has already started.

huh??? you don't stop gaining weight at 29 hahahah. I wish that was the case. I'm definitely not the same weight I was at 29 and I was very much active. Way more active than Errol Spence. I wasn't a boxer only fighting twice a year and training twice a year. I was running every day , no dunking or drugs(never done those things) and playing basketball at lease 4 times a week while also sparring at the local gym twice a week and I still would put on 4 pounds with the eating of a double cheesburger it seemed hahaa.

They all do. That's why all of these fighters fight twice a year and it seems active today. I remember a Mills Lane interview back in 1997 when he said he ran into Donald Curry while not training. He said he screamed on Curry who was walking around at 162(when he was at 147). That's just 15 lbs. These guys today are fighting at welterweight walking around in their 180s. We got guys like Mikey Garcia at 135 walking about at lthvy. It's a new day and I don't think that it's healthy long term for their career. James Toney and Gerald Mcclellan mastered the weight cut
