If Fury unloads like that on Wilder or Ruiz, they go down and don't get back up. Wallin deserves to make some new fans in Sweden, and everywhere else. Boxing always welcomes new fans.
Ortiz had Wilder shambling around like a drunk after the 7th round of their first fight, and even though I'm a Wilder guy, he definitely got too much recovery time at the start of the 8th. He's chinny, but he hasn't been down, and he'll throw back when he's hurt. This is good for us because generally knocks people out when he's throwing. Fury was getting the better of him at the end of the 12th though, and had him retreating when the obvious right hand stopped landing. It's gonna be a good rematch, regardless of who your money is on (I'm betting Wilder KO9).

I think the jury is still out on Ruiz. When Joshua dropped him, it looked like the beginning of the end was coming, but then Ruiz got up and went full Aztec warrior and did the impossible. As far as I can tell, Joshua has the weakest chin among the recognized elites, so Ruiz battling back and being impressive could have had something to do with that (no knock against Ruiz for doing his job). I've never been crazy about Joshua, and I expected Miller to kill him before that fight fell through, so my bias won't let me give Ruiz that much credit just yet. Waiting to see if he's going to be a Chris Arreola type.

I understand the hero welcome because he was a huge underdog, but let`s not pretend he did something special. he clearly lost.

We've not heard anything from the Gypsy-Bum, Fury knows the score! .
