Comments Thread For: Hopkins: Pacquiao Probably Breaks My Record, Fights Into 50's

Former unified middleweight and light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins believes Manny Pacquiao, 40-years-old, could continue fighting for another 10 years - or more. Back in in July, Pacquiao turned back the clock when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over undefeated Keith Thurman to capture the WBA welterweight title.

... B-Hop is very generous with Pacquiao... but B-Hop was an actual phenomenon...

Mayweather can still beat Pacman at 160 pounds limit but Pacman sure wins at 147 pounds limit without IV.

The topic isn’t about Mayweather. Get him out of your head buddy.

But Pac started at 16 years old. Bh started pro career late and pac beat better fighters. Plus pac s former flyweight who reach prime much younger. He's had more fights than bh.
Add that all together unlikely to fight to mid 40s.

No. Pac looked like **** in his fight with Thurman. If not for hurting him in the 10th, we have a draw. Pac won the first 5 and lost 6 of the next 7. I don’t care what the commentators was saying. And I wanted Pac to win cuz I hate Keith Thurman. So he definitely won by a point but he took a lot of punishment

Pacquiao won't fight for much longer, and why should he. Another fight or two and that may be it, but excellent win over a good young champion in Thurman.

Doubtful. He might have 3 or 4 more years at the top at best. Nobody will ever break Hopkins record. Least not in you're lifetime.

The fight wasn’t close. Big difference between competitive (Which it was) and close, which it wasn’t
