Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz: I Knew Anthony Joshua's Style Was Perfect For Me

Andy Ruiz Jr says the scariest thing for Anthony Joshua to contemplate as he prepares for their rematch will not be the idea that Ruiz could knock him out, but the thought that he could takes his best shots and still come back firing. Prior to facing Ruiz on June 1 in New York, Joshua had stopped every opponent he had put on the canvas. But that run finished there, as Joshua knocked down Ruiz, but ended up getting stopped himself.

... in the "mid range" Ruiz catches him all the time... and AJ usually comes in the mid range in order to hit hard...

Forget it Andy, judging by the posts from the Americans on here you are nothing but an obese bum and the only reason you won is because Joshua is an overrated fraud robot ped user with a glass chin. They are not for giving you, your style or your power any credit what so ever.

But don't worry if AJ beats you in the rematch they won't be giving him any credit either cuz as far as they are concerned he would only be doing he should be doing should he beat you, even though that contradicts all the things they said as to why he lost in the 1st place.

But, I do think America appreciates what you have achieved its just the usual PBC Fangimps on here that can't manage it.

Andy's a good fighter but although most fair weather fans act like they knew this result was coming that couldn't be further from the truth. You just have to see the official thread at the time of AJ putting him down, most thought it was over so credit to Andy for capitalising on AJ's weaknesses.

No doubt. NO ONE gave Ruiz a chance in hell, myself included. But props to him for rising above.

Ruiz was only hit with one combo sequence in the 7 rounds and went down. Joshua averaged less then 2 power punches landed per round and only was an active jabber in 2 rounds. Ruiz is going to lose this fight ,theres no way Joshuas out put could be any worse . Ruiz wont last 12 rounds against an aggressive Joshua ,only way this fight is another upset is if Joshua cant sustain a hard shot which doesn't suggest it ,he was talking to the ref in round 7. The same idiots who think he was knocked out are the same ones claiming fury was against Wilder, bunch of dummies on here. lol

Joshua simple corrections sees him winning comfortably here, Ruiz has to land against an unassuming Joshua again, and it wont happen if Joshua anticipates a real fight this time. If Joshua does damage first again its going to be game over .

That’s a LIE I was on boxing scene saying Andy had a chance because AJ is Chiny and people on here laughed at me. Turns out I got the last laugh.

To hear you tell it Joshua didn't get knocked down multiple times and humiliated in front of the entire world.

Andy is a real fighter with real heart. The rematch won't be so simple for Joshua to win.

We'll see how it plays out no fight is simple unless you are hand picking guys you know are outmatched ,we know who that is and was bound to back fire on him sooner then later.

Joshua getting knocked down multiple times AFTER the third round is only crediting him as he stayed in the fight not expecting a actual one to break out, again these things go over your head, its going to be a very active jab Joshua which works around that and Ruiz has next to no chance if/when that happens.

On the contrary listeniong to guys like you ,one would think Joshua got mugged in there the entire time when if you actually study the fight ( I know you don't ) anyone logical cwould see Joshua was staying with Ruiz up until the 6th round ,and I bet you don't even know what actual shot that landed for Ruiz that changed the fight bc no one brought it up so that's how I know you guys aren't looking for what actually happened. ….lol.

Guys like you don't know what humilation is ,you have no balls so be quiot on the sidelines,.

Joshua is a real fighter, with real heart. He single handedly re-ignited the heavyweight division. AJ has done more for boxing in the last few years than anybody else.

One bad performance doesn't define a man. My money is on AJ to win and go on to be undisputed champion.
