Comments Thread For: Team Abdullaev: Too Early For Hearn To Plan Haney's Future

Zaur Abdullaev and his team can certainly appreciate Devin Haney's confidence ahead of their upcoming lightweight interim title fight. Future plans already being discussed by Haney's promoter, however, is another story. The pair of unbeaten lightweights will collide September 13 at Madison Square Garden's Hulu Theater in New York City. The DAZN-streamed headliner was originally designed to create a mandatory challenger for unified lightweight titlist and pound-for-pound entrant Vasiliy Lomachenko. It has since been upgraded to an interim title fight, although obtaining such sanctioning isn't the only piece of business that Haney's promoter, Eddie Hearn has been up to lately.

Zaur Abdullaev keep talking your sh.it but you are just a bump in the road from Arum to keep Haney off of Lmaochenko's a.ss! P4P #1 but running back to 130 to display his once in a life time skills! Yeah! Lmaochenko.

Zaur is a russian brawler, any of you pansies cheerleaders who are already complaining that Loma is ducking Haney should keep your panties up. Zaur might just KO Haney with some upper-cuts.

Hearn can't decide Devin's future because Devin is his own boss. He's not a dummy like AJ

Would be a ballsy move to say it like this... if it was Abdullaev himself to say it. But it being a promoter sounds childishly insecure with zero confidence in their fighter.

This is becoming all too common, just overlooking their opponent and taking about the future like it's already a given. Focus on the task at hand then move from there.

This fight won't be a walk in the park for Haney. I resubscribed to DAZN for this month for this fight.

                  War Devin!

Who is this guy Abdulev. Cant remember seeing him in amateur. Another fodder it seems for Haney
