If he turned down a equal step aside fee as the payday for this fight they f#cking ******. Getting paid the same for a fight for not fighting ain't no decision at all to me. As long as he gots the winner, if its Kovalev, or a vacant title fight if Canelo wins & drops the belt it seems the superior business move. You get a nice payday for nothing & another nice payday for a more hyped Kovalev with a Canelo W or you likely get a weaker opponent for a vacant belt, but can do it on home turf & while not likely to be as good as a Kovalev payday it should be decent.Comment
