Yarde will have small moments early when he's feeling good about himself before reality sets in when Kovalev hits him, he'll recede into a shell and then he'll tire and get stopped. The only advantage Yarde has is the grotesque strength gained from juicing.
All depends on what Kovalev has left in the tank, if he is truly washed up then he could lose but if he has anything left he will be way too much for Yarde.
Let’s be real though, Kovalev might be “washed up” by his standards, those standards being a guy that many felt beat Andre Ward in their first fight. Yeah he’s had some losses since then but he is still a world class fighter and was a top p4p fighter not long ago. He might not be a top drawer fighter right now, but he’s still very good.
Yarde has fought nobody yet. So we don’t really know what he can do.
There’s no doubt Kovalev has declined, getting older and seems to like a drink too much etc..but it doesn’t just mean any fighter can jump in and beat him. You better be operating on world level to even have a chance.
