Like Andy said the only way they fight in England is if they pay him 10 million

Wilder missed out on the difference between what he got paid for the Breazeale fight and the 20 mil that was part of the DAZN offers. A.J losing would have voided the rest of the deal. Both offers were contingent on both guys winning their tuneups. Wilder knocked out his guy in 1. Joshua was crushed!

If Ruiz was reneging on the contract , Eddie fughin Hearn would jump all over that , from twitter to instagram to anyone fughin listening
Anyway wouldn’t be surprised if AJ needs a tune up or some chit like that , imo , that would be his best bet instead of jumping back in the cherry picker snicker

No one has seen the contract other the authorized participants. I'm going by Hearn words in regard to what he has disclosed thus far (which is generic info just like what other promoters have done in past rematch clauses).

But let says for a second that Hearn DID offer Ruiz a fugh up contract (including the rematch clause) to fight Joshua...with Ruiz and his lawyers (including his adviser Al Haymon) reading over the language of the deal, if it was fugh up, WHY DID THEY SIGN IT?

Don't sign it unless you plan to honor it. It wasn't a bad contract when you signed it & was given (not earned because it was a optional defense) the opportunity.

Oh & Ruiz was the best of the lot Hearn was mauling offers to, the rest of them being:

        Trevor Bryant
        Manual Charr
        Michael Hunter

Ruiz is better than those 3 (and no one else that's elite would take the fight on 6 weeks notice), how is that a cherry pick?

Doesn't seem to make a difference to Joshua, but if Ruiz is such a badazz he should take a flight and prove it. I don't happen to think he wins the rematch, but stranger things have happened. Maybe all that extra padding make punches bounce off him? LOL!!!

Seriously, prove you're as amazing as you broadcast you are, Ruiz. Then if you lose, you're yesterday's news. And if you win, the sky's the limit. Don't expect to go from pauper to rich man in one fight.

Brother , if the contract was all good it be a done deal
Obviously something is wrong and honestly speaking , I don’t think it’s on Ruiz’s side because I just don’t see Hearn not blabbing about it
The way Hearn likes to shoot his mouth , he’d jump all over that telling anyone who would listen
Do you really believe Hearn and AJ didn’t think this would be an easy fight
You’d be lying to yourself if you thought otherwise
They were already talking about their next fight
Fughin funny how all of a sudden they’ve gone silent

That would show big balls if AJ went to Mexico for the rematch and won.
But I think he will okay it safe and stay in the UK.

I honestly cant comprehend the overwhelming number of comments from "boxing fans" that appear to lack basic knowledge or historical experience when it comes to "who calls the shots" in a rematch clause scenario..... Unless I'm actually the one who's lacking, which could very well be a possiblity 😉. But I can't recall one instance where a champ had lost with a contracted rematch clause, went straight into the rematch, and his opponent was contractually given the leverage to dictate when and where the rematch will be held on top of how much he will be paid if he were asked to go where he didnt personally care for.
Personally as a lazy fan, I want to see it happen at MSG because it would be in my comfort timezone to watch.
Realistically( thoroughly consider the potential money and legacy associated with getting the belts back and not getting them back) in a situation such as this, I cant find fault or hate against any and all beaten champions if they were to have the rematch in their backyard. If I was in that situation, you better damn sure believe Im not going to romanticize about making it right and running it back in an away fight! If I can get an edge by just being more comfortable, I without a doubt am going to take it😂!
I'm fairly confident that nearly every single person on this planet would do the same if they were being completely honest with themselves.

It is a done deal...Ruiz has no choice.

Either fight where Team Joshua wants the fight or retire from Boxing.

Because taking another fight with another promoter thereby breaking his contract with Hearn will get Ruiz (and that promoter) taken to court and sued.

We’ve been hearing it’s a done deal since late June...
