Which is funny because arum had 4 of the top 5 guys in the division
Ppl forget how pac took out all of arums top 147 guys early on
Pac had good match-making from 2009-10. His 2011 match-making was so terribly picked. Berto and Bradley respectively would have been the right choices in 2011(if not Floyd of course)Last edited by Ca$ual Fan; 08-01-2019, 02:57 PM.

I bet Pacquiao would like to look at another belt. To me the obvious choice is Spence. Although personally that is a step too far for Pacquiao right now although its a risky fight.
But i see whats going on here, the script was for Thurman to win here, commentators getting twitchy for Thurman all night even when he was getting a bit of a kicking, the fact it was split, CLEAR WINNER, and then there was the Fox recap vid that didnt show the knock down and made it look like Thurman was schooling him.
So Thurman lost his belt when it was meant to be the other way round and they would prefer that he tried to get it back and i presume they dont really care what Pacquiao wants even though he is the biggest star they have on their books.Last edited by j.razor; 08-01-2019, 03:03 PM.

Hypocrites
It was a close fight but not “razor thin close”. Ellerbe said it’s unanimous and not “split decision”. Thurman himself admitted he did his best but Pac simply beat him due to his tremendous skills and experience. Pac proves you wrong time and time again.
There will be a Pac/Mayweather rematch, they’re just trying to hype it up, marinate it a little longer to generate more money. That’s why Mayweather went to the Philippines to see Pac and they met again in Japan. It was already planned, even Broner believes they will fight again. Why not? They will make a lot of money again, what’s wrong with that?

Absolutely no rematch. To be honest we shouldn't have even had a Tim Bradley Manny Pacquiao rematch less two of them. The fight that really makes sense would be vasyl lomachenko needs to be his own man in step up against his father's wishes and fight Pacquiao at 139 pound catch-weight that's the fight that makes sense.
