Berto would be a good comeback fight for Keith.

Whatever, Keith is what we need in sport. Well skilled fighter, trashtalker before the fighter, gentleman after.

Pac could have definitely finished him off right after the body shot but it appears he let him be out of compassion. Thurman was ready to go. He stopped moving, took out his mouthpiece and looked at the ref

Bro PAC took away that jab early in thr fight already. He kept countering that jab with a right hook almost EVERY time Thurman threw it.

Thurman didn't just not jab Pacquiao, the jab was forcefully taken away from him.

This is why I respect Mayweather. When he fought PAC, PAC counter the jab in the fourth and hurt Mayweather badly. But he didn't allow his jab to be taken away, instead he went right back to it and just adjusted it for the counter.

In round three against Maidana in their second fight, Maidana tried to take away the pull counter by hitting and hurting May with his own counter to the pull counter.

Did May stop throwing the pull counter? Hell naw. In fact he threw it even more and just made the adjustment to duck and clinch right after throwing it.

Great, mentally strong fighters don't allow their weapons to be taken away.

Brook is one of those guys who allowed Spence to systematically strip him of all his weapons as the fight wore on.

I guess you can throw some respect to guys like Manny and Spence for being able to strip elite fighters of their weapons too.

That man has heart and will of a champion!

Took a devasting body shot, spit out his mouthpiece to breathe, and put it back in, whilst avoiding an onslaught from Manny without getting dropped.

If he gets dropped, he stands up like a champ and try to win. Amazing!
I'm not a Thurman fan, in fact I'm a Thurman hater, but man I gotta throw some respect. Thurman is tough as nails. Physically he isn't tough at all he gets hurt easily especially to the body, but the mental fortitude is insane. The guy simply refuses to give up and he never became gun shy he kept coming and trying to find ways to win.

I was pissed off by the commentary by Wilder and co. They were fanboying Manny instead of commenting professionally.

There was that time when Thurman 's nose was bluddied and he went back to his corner and they said that Thurman looks ready to give up and that he looks like he wants to tell his corner to throw the towel.

Such bullshieet. Thurman had steel in his eyes. You could tell he knew the situation was bad but you could also tell that he had fortified his mind and told himself to get on with it. He looked focussed and ready to go another round.

Nevertheless, good performance by both guys. I feel like Thurman could win a rematch but I don't think Pacquiao is gonna do that. I think he is passed the point of giving rematches now. He is likely looking at fighting the winner of Spence and Porter early next year.

What are you talking about. Thurman has one decision loss, Khan was badly stopped a few times.

Keith knew where he was at. Thats why he didnt want Spence or Crawford. Cashed out vs Pac. He can't hang with those two

Take the knock down away and it’s Thurman fight IMO. Good quality fight by two elite guys. Fair play to pac.

So why can’t he hide it like the others do?
collazo hurt him really bad with a body shot too! he almost took a knee! maybe keith needs to do more crunches Lol. I will say thurman's ability to recover and come back is insane. he's never been stopped and never went down from those body shots! you gotta respect that toughness.

I tried to talk boxing with many of these younglings but they don't get it. Keith fought to prove that he is tough and not to win the fight. He was basically trying to back up his trash talking. All it takes to beat Manny is to watch Marquez and Mayweather. Bradley did at times, but let his ego got in the way, then got pulled into Manny's fight. Manny has wild style of fighting where he perfected. so, you are not going to beat him fighting wild, too.

All it takes is feints, take two steps backs, then slight step to the right or left. He will get impatience and starts lunging in, then ends up off balance and susceptible to counters. Any time Keith did that he was successful, but he kept engaging in fire fights with Manny. His defence was poor as well, as he backs straight up with poor footwork. Watch how many times he was out of position. There is one time he squared up so badly, all Manny had to do was blow on him; i am speaking of the time he ended up in the southpaw position because he was so badly out of position. For me, Keith was exposed as a limited fighter. Good, in a relative sense, but limited.
