Thurman surprised the way he fought, he didn't come for a running. Manny did great he is only fault were his pauses when he slept and got this jab standing on place and probably he should have started earlier to hunt for this stomach punch instead of hunting his head. Thurman was trying to catch Manny all 12 rounds with a powerful punch so Manny could do the same thing waiting Thurman to come instead of running after him and missing. Again Pacman come to entertain despite harm to his health unlike scumbag Mayweather.

I think the main problem is he started head hunting too much after he hurt Thurman.

If you hurt the guy to the body, then aim for the body when trying to finish him. Force him to make the decision to take a knee or just outright body him to the ground.

Did you see Thurman’s last fight?

I am struggling to name a Pac performance as bad in the last 15 years

I picked PAC for 3 reasons

        1. It’s PAC & he’s an atg

        2. It’s PAC, he’s an atg and not shot

He’s still got good speed (hand & foot), can take a punch with only noticeable decline being stamina

        3. I doubted Thurman would be even close to peak

He was -- at numerous times -- getting clowned on by the older, shorter, smaller, aging warrior who has three (3) full career's worth of mileage on his body. I like Keith, and Pacquiao, also, about the same: I think they're both good guys and the pre-fight trash talk from Thurman was really surprising; maybe he was looking to motivate himself since the general consensus was that even this version of Pac-man (in the closing chapters of his career) was the safer bet in this matchup. I thought Thurman would win by late stoppage, but he looked stunned -- physically, of course -- but his facial expressions from about Rd. 3 or 4 onward were not what you'd normally be seeing from a world-class, undefeated, top fighter in his weight class and in his physical prime years. He looked scared and hurt.

How great WAS the Manny of a decade ago? Way, way, way too good for any version of Keith Thurman -- with a stoppage to One-Time most likely the result. How good IS the Manny we saw tonight? Clearly better than this version of Thurman -- which is what a true fan of boxing should care about at the moment. Layoff, or pay off? The layoff is over and at just 30, in his physical prime, I expected more. Maybe we should have expected this, given the Collazo fight (the body shot that he ate badly), the Guerreo fight (Ghost making a strong come back late, even after all that punishment from Keith), and obviously the Josesito near-disaster outcome.

Bud Crawford or Errol Spence? Thurman knows deep down inside that they are on a slightly higher level, at the very least. On the other side of the spectrum, maybe Keith Thurman knows his career will be derailed by either guy -- it's just a shame that the beginning of the end took place in Vegas tonight.
Bud and spence are still so green. Even though bud was a champ champ at 3 weight classes he opposition were very supar. Same with spence, he couldn't even KO a blown up lightweight throwing a gazillion punches, and the kitchen sink.
Thurman handled himself well he didn't fold like mostly everyone would've and start fighting defensive like all of pacs past opponents.

Wouldn’t that be 7? He won 6 rounds which includes the first round. plus the 1 extra point for the knock down. So 6+1=7. Not so basic Sorry had to.

If not I wouldnt be sad if he retires. Pac has given us many exciting fights. Forever be loved by boxing fans.
Or it's a case of the MANY vicious body shots Keith Thurman landed throughout the fight and especially in the first six rounds.

Yes not as vicious as the liver shot Manny landed in round 10 but Keith was killing Manny's body even when he was being ragdolled in the first six rounds.

                      Watch the fight again.

Many fans don't notice these small little things especially when it comes to body shots.
