Comments Thread For: Bellew Tabs Wilder To Wait For Ruiz-Joshua Result Before Fury Deal

Former cruiserweight champion and Sky Sports pundit Tony Bellew is not fully confident that a rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will take place in February. At the moment, Fury is looking to return on a date in October, with Jarrell Miller and Trevor Bryan being mentioned as potential opponents.

Eventually mandatories will have to be dealt with.

I think Wilder's most likely schedule (assuming he keeps winning) is
    Ortiz
    Fury
    mandatory (Whyte/Rivas)
    unification (Ruiz or Joshua)

While the winner of the Joshua/Ruiz rematch will have to deal with IBF/WBO obligations relatively soon.

I know a unification *****s a mandatory, but usually the mandatory will not wait for a rematch. So unless the IBF and WBO obligations are dealt with before the undisputed title fight, one or both titles would likely be stripped because of the inevitable rematch.

I've heard the exact same news. As a matter of fact, I hear that the Ortiz/Wilder rematch has been postponed, until November pending the Ruiz/Joshua rematch.

I like it. I want an undisputed championship bout. Tyson Fury can wait. He has a boring, shitty style anyway.

Besides, Wilder doesn't owe him shit. He threw Fury a voluntary lifeline for his title that he did not deserve and he blew it by not going for the knockout.

So let him wait. Hopefully, Ruiz and Wilder can get it on sometime early next year; Or Hell even Anthony Joshua. I'm all in for it.

So Fury blew the fight he won bc he didn't get the K.O in the fight he shouldn't be in ? Makes sense NOT ?.

What is Fury waiting on anyway, wilder was the one crying about a rematch and that's what fighters do when they want redemption ,the fighter who wins doesn't cry at all so whos throwing a lifeline of what ?

Yea its real funny how you guys and Wilder have energy for Ruiz but not Joshua fight ?

Do you know why they will wait ? Because Wilder knows Ruiz is very winnable but as soon as Joshua wins expect him to announce that Fury fight REAL fast ,,,,,,

Hearn doesn't think Wilder-Ortiz II happens. Bellew doesn't think Wilder-Fury II happens. I think both happen and I think Joshua beats Ruiz in the rematch.

You're assuming he gets past Fury. Haha more likely Scenerio is Wilder destroys Ortiz again and then Destroys Ruiz after Ruiz knocks Joshua all over the ring again like the b_tch he is

You Wilder haters are so pathetic! Wilder only took the Fury bout on the rebound because he couldn't get the man he wanted in the ring all along which was Anthony Joshua.

That was the only reason why he fought Fury in the first place; Because he thought that it help would generate excitement to boxing fans in general and the heavyweight division in particular by having a bout between two undefeated heavyweight champions.

Therefore, Fury was his gift and consolation prize to us boxing fans. Also, Wilder is already on record stating that he would fight Anthony Joshua next year anyhow. So I don't get what you are saying.

Wilder was eager to get in that ass last year (2018) but Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Sport and AJ prevented it from happening. So subsequently, they chose Andy Ruiz to knock Joshua the fuck out instead before Wilder could. However, Wilder said that he is still interested in fighting AJ though.

He said that Joshua shouldn't retire if he loses his rematch to Andy Ruiz. Moreover, he didn't rule out the possibility of those two meeting in a boxing ring in the not too distant future; Especially in 2020. If AJ can regain his title belts back from Andy Ruiz, Jr again.

******est thing that you could possibly post. What happens to Joshua is why he kept ducking Wilder. Joshy is mentally weak soft simple and plain.🥊
